After four amazing years as part of the Cuevas Tilleard dream team, Anna Maria is moving on to focus on her new role at Petzel Gallery. While it is hard to say goodbye, it is easier knowing Caroline is excited to continue the program – now to be named Tilleard Projects.
We are so proud of what we built together as Cuevas Tilleard. Founded in 2014, our project covered exhibition pop-ups, participation in art fairs, curatorial projects, a gallery in Chinatown, a storefront window on Grand Street, an Artist Residency program in Kenya, and more than one epic artist dinner basement dance parties (Alex Ebstein and your love of Drake we’re thinking of you.)
We want to thank you all for coming along on the ride and helping us figure it out as we went along.
Tilleard Projects will continue to run the Artist Residency program in Lamu, is exploring ways to maintain an exhibition program in New York while living in Kenya, and is set for shows to happen in Nairobi soon. Tilleard Projects will continue participating in art fairs in the United States and internationally. Find out more here
